What is he trying to escape? Obviously disturbed in the video with orange-like prison clothes, our main character is furiously driving at maddening speeds on a lonely highway at midnight at what looks like a twighlight zone. We see his face and body shapeshifting with that of a woman. Her hanging breasts and distorted face scream at our minds telling us that something went wrong. The storyline is likened to that of David Lynch's Lost Highway. Director Patrick Daughters indeed makes this nightmarish concept to blend in with the song from Liars' 4th album. This is yet another video up for Music Video of the Year at the 2008 PLUG Independent Awards.
