Is Music Genre and Sexual Activity related?
February 14th 2008 03:38
From the book Why Men Don't Listen and Women can't read Maps Allan Pease writes that "Jazz enthusiasts have sex 34% more than those who like pop, and classical enthusiasts have the least sex." This was based on a research carried out in 1997 of over 10,000 adults reported by American Demographics magazine.
Just revisiting that quote from the book, and thinking about those three genres of music one could say that Jazz is quite sensual and Classical is more intellectual and Pop may fall in the middle somewhere. On the otherhand, is music neutral and it's the lyrics that really make the difference? Hmm, interesting.
