Review: Karaoke Night
June 21st 2007 22:23
When I first saw the title of this short film, I said to myself, "Sounds Great!". Although, the storyline was different from what I expected, I was not wrong. Not only did I laugh, I was also amazed at how professional the film looked. It was expertly done by the writer, director, producer, (and guy who played Clark) Jason Michael Brescia. Not only did he manage to write dialogue with clever and funny refereces to 1997, but he also has a sense for characters and visuals that are sure to make you laugh. It all takes place at a karaoke bar in 1997. It's got friends, exes, hilarious karaoke performances and Eric Stanton's portrayal of T-Brow is not to be missed. If you've got 12 minutes to watch a short film on the internet and you need a good laugh, this is the one to watch. But if you're at work, don't do it in earshot of your boss, you will laugh out loud.
